I recently had surgery to get a tooth extracted. The tooth did not come out nice and easy, so they had to do some extra work which caused more bleeding. The doc told me it may bleed for a while longer than normal, but just keep biting down on the gauze packing and it would stop eventually. After an hour or two, it was still bleeding some, so Sabrina told me a trick to use. Sabrina was a surgical dental technician so she knows some of these tricks. She told me to just get a regular tea bag, wet it, and then bite down on it for about 10 minutes. She said don’t use a dry tea bag because it can stick to the clot and pull it out.
So I took her advice and grabbed a Lipton tea bag and got it wet under the faucet. Then I bit down on it for about 10 minutes and took it out. No more bleeding! It really worked. So if you have this happen to you or you have your wisdom teeth removed, try this life hack. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me.
