We hope to use this page to link our RV You Tube videos once we create them, but in the mean time, I’ll post some other videos I find interesting. I hope you like them as much as I do…

While we were in Nebraska visiting family, we drove to South Dakota to become residents!

After Key West, we headed to Nebraska to see our mom’s and spend some time with them.  This is our journey there.

Our time in Key West, spring 2022.

Starting our RV journey!  We’ve sold our house and are now FULL TIMER’S!!  We headed south to visit grandkids with our goal to be in Key West FL for about 6 weeks.  Here is that journey.

Our first video for RVing. Kind of what we want to do and what we don’t want.

This is our review of Raliegh Oaks RV Resort in Four Oaks NC. Exit 90 off of I-95. Hope you enjoy it. This is our first ever review…
CAUTION: DO NOT watch if you easily get motion sickness!

This is a 12 minute long video to give you sense of what it is like to fly a jet fighter. Much of the time is just flying pretty much straight and level.  At time mark around 50 seconds you’ll see the pilot looking out of the cockpit.  He is looking for his wingman so he can form up on him.  At about 1:45 he starts maneuvering.  At the 2:25 mark he starts to pull some high G’s and you can see the vapor trail created at the wing root.At around 2:45 you’ll get a good glimpse of the pilot, and just might recognize him if you’ve looked through the other pages.  From 6:15 to 7:40, you’ll see some great stuff!

This is a take off sequence from the USS Carl Vinson. This jet is in line for take off, with a jet on the catapult ahead of it.  For the first 30 seconds or so, you can hear that jet go to full throttle, then get shot off the ship.  This plane then taxi’s forward, over the Jet Blast Deflector (JBD).  The pilot also has to spread the wings.  At about the 1:15 mark, you can see the JBD with the yellow paint off to the left of the pilot, and also the wings going down.  During the process you can see the pilot giving hand signals to the deck crew.  Most communication on the flight deck is with hand signals.  Make sure you watch to the end to see a treat.

In order to fly in Navy aircraft, except as a passenger, you have to complete some qualifications.  First you have to pass a rigourous flight physical, then you have to complete Aviation Physiology Training and experience hypoxia in the pressue chamber (do NOT eat bean burritos with 24 hours of doing this!).  Next is Water Survival Training which this video depicts
